The gathering place for those with German heritage in Vancouver since 1935, the Deutsches Haus at the Vancouver Alpen Club is not only one of the most enduring spots for ringing in Oktoberfest with a few pints and sausages, but it is also one of the oldest operating restaurants in the city. Let’s drink to that! It is easily accessible – close to two major automobile routes as well as public transportation. Plenty of overnight accommodations and restaurants are also available nearby.
